This was so incredibly interesting and well-researched. Thank you.

01:13:17
when did Guest become Asst Director?

01:15:53
Assistant DIRECTOR

01:16:10
Can you tell more about the relationships among these women to each other?

01:20:04
Strange to say, Guest was scarcely known even by later Freer staff (including myself). Her notes appeared cryptically on "folder sheets"--collection records--but that was all.

01:21:37
She is known to those in Islamic art.

01:21:51
This Freer-Guest discussion reminds me of another such story, "The Personal Librarian", about Belle DaCosta Greene, the woman who curated the book and art collection of J.P. Morgan.

01:21:53
Hi. I am wondering if you mentioned the Peacock Room in the Freer House?

01:23:19
Thank you for your wonderful presentation frankly discussing Freer and these important women so closely involved with Freer and the Gallery. Is your dissertation available or will it be published?
